THE REAR PANEL

SPEAKER UNIT
Gravis III boasts a 10” (250mm) ultra-long throw driver equipped with a trilaminated sandwich cone diaphragm. The Gravis III brings fast, pitch-defined bass and near-invisible seamless integration to serious music systems, enriching main speakers with tactile depth rather than brute-force excess. HomeTheaterHifi praised its musical precision and sophisticated calibration, while SoundStage Solo found its tight, forceful response equally compelling for films. Leather-and-wood craftsmanship completes this elegant sealed subwoofer.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Pros
Exceptionally fast, tight and pitch-defined bass gives music real depth without blurring individual notes.
Blends seamlessly with main speakers, creating a convincing single full-range presentation.
Comprehensive app-based setup includes effective Auto EQ, parametric EQ, crossover, phase and presets.
Premium leather, wood and heavily built cabinet make it unusually elegant and luxurious for a subwoofer.
&
Cons
Its single 10-inch sealed design lacks the ultimate sub-20Hz extension and large-room output of bigger or dual-subwoofer systems.
Compression becomes audible when pushed toward very high playback levels.
Most adjustments rely on the app, whose Auto EQ measurement workflow and saved-setting behavior drew usability criticism.

Bass
91/100
Reviewers found the Gravis III unusually capable for a sealed 10-inch subwoofer, with measured output extending to roughly 22-25Hz and excellent definition between deep-bass notes. It is praised for fast, tight, musical bass and strong LFE performance, though one reviewer heard compression at the driver’s limits and noted that it cannot match a larger dual-subwoofer reference system’s ultimate output.
Integration
95/100
Integration is a standout: HomeTheaterHifi heard “no sense of a subwoofer running,” describing the system as a single full-range speaker. SoundStage Solo likewise called its blend with minimonitors “perfect” and said the output could be seamlessly blended with small speakers.
Dynamics
90/100
The Gravis III is consistently described as fast, crisp, and forceful, with impacts that reviewers could physically feel during demanding film scenes. It delivers tight, clean transients and convincing punch, although it has less ultimate headroom than a larger reference dual-sub setup and can compress when pushed to its limits.
Build Quality
93/100
Construction earns emphatic praise, from the extensively braced 1.25-inch HDF enclosure to the leather wrap, hand-finished wood top, metal grille posts, and substantial rear-panel hardware. HomeTheaterHifi calls the overall construction excellent, down to the satisfyingly tactile volume control.
Features Usability
91/100
The Gravis app provides unusually comprehensive setup tools, including Auto EQ, four presets, variable crossover and phase, delay, auto-on threshold adjustment, and eight-band parametric EQ. Reviewers found pairing straightforward and Auto EQ effective, though most adjustments require the app rather than rear-panel controls; an initially distracting Bluetooth-status light was addressed by firmware.
Value for Money
87/100
At $2,750-$2,995, reviewers acknowledge that the price is steep for a single 10-inch subwoofer, particularly for buyers seeking very deep subsonic extension or huge-room output. However, HomeTheaterHifi considers it worth the money for the right buyer because of its finish, design, and exceptional ability to improve a music system’s full-range coherence.
