Linn 360

Our flagship 360 loudspeaker features an advanced cabinet, new Linn drive units, and pioneering electronics.

Audibly Invisible

360 is audibly invisible. It produces a performance with unprecedented clarity and realism, that’s entirely absent of sonic colouration. Incorporating innovative drive unit and amplifier technologies, 360 turns out our lowest ever levels of audible distortion. The honed curves of its cabinet are partnered with meticulously matched drive units to deliver the cleanest possible dispersion characteristics.

All that is experienced with 360 is sound-stage; with vocals suspended in space, and true-to-life scale and depth leaving you utterly devoid of the sense you are listening to a pair of stereo speakers.

Visibly Remarkable

360 is visibly remarkable. Its curvaceous cabinet, intricately machined trim, and range of dynamic finishes combine to present an overall aesthetic that is familiar, yet with ultra-modern flair and contemporary class.

Flagship loudspeaker

Critical to 360’s sonic character is the wholesale elimination of audible distortion brought about by the cutting-edge material science and simulation which drove development of the drive units, and their subsequent integration with our latest amplifier technologies in both the bass system and 360 Array.

Sumptuous form conscientiously follows function in a visibly remarkable aesthetic that breaks ground beyond traditional cabinet design. The shapely, extremely robust cabinet is built up from scrupulously formed 3D laminates – pushing and exceeding the limits of ply engineering to create a fluid front baffle which wraps elegantly around either side of the speaker. This baffle tapers from bottom to top, with shaped radii matched to the requirements of each individual drive unit. Fitted flush to this smooth face, the drivers project sound entirely without obstruction. These elements combined result in a speaker which produces precisely the same tonality in every direction, reinforcing the sound-stage of the original recording.

Machined into the 360 Array trim are a series of concentric arcs — redolent of the grooves of a vinyl record — a thoughtful nod to Linn’s origins and the iconic Sondek LP12 turntable upon which the company was founded. Designed expressly for 360 are three curated finish collections. The Glasgow Collection celebrates our Scottish home with expressive colours and dynamic textures. The Classic Collection offers timeless, understated elegance, whilst the Signature Collection presents exclusive statement finishes.

Applications

To build your dream Klimax System you have a choice of two distinct models of 360.

Choose 360 Exakt Integrated partnered with a Klimax DSM: System Hub for the highest-performing one box/two speakers hifi system in the world. This model includes amplification with Adaptive Bias Control, Exakt technology and Organik DACs integrated within each speaker. It’s the closest you can get to a genuine live music experience from the comfort of your home.

If you'd prefer separates, you can opt for 360 Passive with Active Bass (PWAB) plus a pair of Klimax Solo amplifiers. For the ultimate no-holds-barred separates system, 360 PWAB can be easily converted to perform in an Exakt system alongside Klimax Exaktbox and six channels of Klimax Solo amplfiiers.

The best of Linn, built in

Every one of our industry-leading flagship technologies comes together in 360, working in harmony to eliminate loss and distortion from music.

Organik

Our first-ever, entirely homegrown digital-to-analogue converter marks a paradigm shift in DAC technology, producing our most natural sound ever from digital sources.

Adaptive Bias Control

Adaptive Bias Control constantly measures and adjusts bias current, eliminating transistor crossover distortion in all conditions for the lifespan of our amplifiers.

Pistonik

The Pistonik motor system generates flawless force at the core of our low-frequency drive units, producing ultimate linear performance.

Bass System with Power DAC technology

Our Power DAC technology combines DAC and amplification into a single stage — extending the digital signal path whilst minimising loss. It's highly efficient, ultra-low-noise, and provides the perfect platform for driving the lower bass system in 360. When coupled with the prodigious linear excursion of the Linn-designed 8" woofers it drives, 360 produces seismic, realistic and distortion-free bass that will seriously move you.
