Focal Vestia N°3
3-way floor-standing speaker
Vestia N°3 is a slender, high-performance bass-reflex hi-fi speaker. It is linear and extremely neutral. Its impressive dynamics, driven by three bass drivers with Slatefiber membranes, enable it to deliver the very best in both home cinema and music listening. Ideal for rooms of 25 m² or more, it will appeal to every listener in search of emotion.
BALANCE AND PRECISION
Thanks to bass-reflex technology (one vent at the front and one at the rear for an all-encompassing bass) and Slatefiber (recycled carbon fiber) diaphragms, the soundstage is precise and deep. Ultra-rigid cabinetry ensures perfect control of resonances and a neutral, uncolored sound.
COMFORT AND PERFORMANCE
The sloping feet of the loudspeakers create a soundstage centered on the listener (Time Alignment), for even greater immersion and emotion. For an all-encompassing bass, the loudspeakers can be perfectly combined with the SUB 600P SUBWOOFER
TIMELESS DESIGN
Thanks to a choice of harmonious, refined finishes - black or white leather-effect front panel, Black High Gloss, Dark Wood or Light Wood side panels - this floorstanding loudspeaker blends elegantly into any interior.

Value for Money

The Vestia N°3 delivers deep, tightly controlled bass with startling low-level detail, while preserving lifelike vocals, seamless coherence and a lively yet refined top end. SoundStage Solo found it remarkably composed at serious volume, making this three-way floorstander a compelling route to high-impact dynamics and richly balanced, room-filling sound.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Pros
Deep, weighty bass reaches roughly 30Hz in-room while staying tight, tuneful and clear of the midrange.
Vocals are exceptionally clean, natural and tangible, with seamless integration across bass, midrange and treble.
Remains composed and clean at very high listening levels, with strong dynamic impact and no audible distortion reported.
&
Cons
Placement matters: moving the speakers farther from the rear wall was needed to improve upper-bass clarity.
Its lively treble carries slightly more energy than strict neutrality, though the reviewer did not find it overly bright.
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 94/100
The Vestia N°3 impressed its reviewer with unusually clear, tonally balanced sound, powerful low-frequency reach, and a clean, composed presentation at high levels. Vocals remain natural and distinct while the lively top end avoids overt brightness, making this a revealing but broadly easy-to-enjoy floorstander.
Bass
96/100
SoundStage Solo heard bass extending to roughly 30Hz with exceptional tightness, weight, and definition. Kick drums had substantial power, while acoustic and electric bass remained tuneful, detailed, and clear rather than obscuring the midrange.
Mid
95/100
Vocals were a major strength: Leonard Cohen and Bruce Cockburn were described as exceptionally lifelike, robust, clear, and tangible. The reviewer also found Stevie Nicks' voice spotlessly clean, with no sense that the abundant bass clouded the midband.
Treble
91/100
The highs were described as lively and involving without becoming too bright. The reviewer’s comments on extreme clarity across the audible range and the absence of dullness support a clean, open top end, though there is limited detail about ultimate treble air or delicacy.
Soundstage Imaging
90/100
The review notes that vocal images hung tangibly in space and that the handoffs from bass to midrange to treble were seamless. There is little direct discussion of stage width, depth, or off-axis imaging, but the reported coherence suggests convincing image stability.
Dynamics
95/100
The N°3 stayed clean and composed at ear-splitting levels, with no audible distortion detected as volume rose. Dense material and screaming guitar remained controlled, while kick drums retained substantial impact and presence.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
86/100
The reviewer specifically praised the review pair’s exceptionally smooth side panels, describing them as smooth as glass. The supplied design includes a stabilizing, rear-raked base and magnetic grille, but the review offers limited direct assessment of cabinet rigidity, hardware, or long-term durability.
Value for Money
94/100
At roughly $2,399 to $3,098 per pair depending on market and finish, the N°3 was viewed as highly competitive. SoundStage Solo concluded that substantially better performance would require considerably more money, particularly praising its bass performance and overall clarity for the size and price.
