The Accuphase P-7500 brings a pitch-black background, exceptional depth layering and seemingly limitless control to demanding loudspeakers. Fidelity Magazine found its presentation unwaveringly neutral and linear, pairing explosive headroom with delicate decay, expansive imaging and freedom from compression. Meticulously engineered and immensely powerful, it is reference-grade amplification for systems that expose every last detail.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Pros
Exceptionally quiet, transparent presentation with vivid depth layering and finely resolved decay.
Remains neutral, linear and composed with demanding speaker loads while delivering substantial dynamic headroom.
Superb engineering and tactile build quality, including robust gold-plated connections and highly secure speaker terminals.

Cons
Premium pricing places it firmly in the high-end segment.
Its 50 kg chassis makes installation and repositioning a two-person task.
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 96/100
Fidelity Magazine found the P-7500 exceptionally composed, linear and musically convincing, combining an unusually silent background with effortless power delivery. Its strongest qualities are the calm and precision of its spatial presentation, the absence of audible compression, and its ability to remain neutral into demanding loads.
Transparency Resolution
96/100
The reviewer describes an exceptionally quiet, pitch-black background and says the amplifier's capabilities emerge especially clearly in the space between notes. Measurements also reportedly exceeded the already ambitious noise specification, supporting the impression of very low-level clarity and freedom from haze.
Tonal Balance Musicality
95/100
The P-7500 is described as unerringly neutral and linear at every load, yet the presentation is far from sterile: Fidelity calls it serene, grand and deeply involving. Piano decay, instrumental texture and long reverberant tails were reproduced with unusual naturalness and poise.
Dynamics
96/100
Fidelity says its dynamics and headroom leave nothing to be desired. On AC/DC, attacks had enough force to press the listener into the seat, while the amplifier avoided the pumping and compression effects heard when smaller amplifiers run out of reserve.
Soundstage Imaging
97/100
Spatial performance is a particular highlight. The review praises the P-7500's incomparable calm, tidiness and depth layering, with piano decays revealing a recording venue's dimensions in vivid, palpable fashion.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
95/100
Fidelity characterizes the 50 kg amplifier as a showcase of engineering experience, with close attention paid to its numerous execution details. The review specifically praises the gold-plated terminals, the secure grip of the binding posts and the unusually substantial threaded speaker connections; balanced and unbalanced inputs, plus adjustable meters, add useful operational refinement.
Value for Money
85/100
At roughly €20,500, the P-7500 occupies a decidedly premium segment. Fidelity praises its craftsmanship, appearance and measurement performance, but does not directly compare its value against competing amplifiers or characterize it as a bargain.
